From Middle East to Russia, then from Hong Kong to Chinese mainland, KONCAI remained active among world prestigious beauty summits such as Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai, InterCHARM in Russia and Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong. Not only had our classic beauty cases been displayed and highly appreciated on these exhibitions, upgraded items, high-end materials and innovations were presented and favored as well. With luxurious high-quality products as a medium, KONCAI boasted our sincerity, quality, service and innovation to beauty professionals and beauty salon businesses in the world.

According to Mercer’s 19th annual Quality of Living survey, many cities offer the world’s highest quality of living and remain attractive destinations for expanding business operations and sending expatriates on assignment. Dubai continues to rank highest for quality of living across Africa and the Middle East, although Dubai occupies the 74th place, rising one position in this year’s ranking, followed closely by Abu Dhabi (79), which climbed three spots.

Tremendous growth prospects for the beauty industry in the Middle East are offered by socio-economic factors and a high percentage of young population. Changing trends in the global beauty sector, a growing market for Halal products, the expansion of domestic production, growing awareness among consumers and the increasing influence of social media have all impacted the way how beauty business has traditionally been done in the region.

Beautyworld Middle East is the wider region’s premier trade and networking event for the beauty and wellness industry. It is the largest international trade fair for beauty products, hair, fragrances and wellbeing in the Middle East and one of the top 3 exhibitions worldwide. 

From 15 May to 17 May 2017, the 22nd edition of Beautyworld Middle East welcomed over 41,000 visitors and featured 1,568 exhibitors from 56 countries and witnessed a truly unprecedented and record breaking success. The three-day exhibition delivered attractive opportunities, incredible insights, and a fascinating glimpse into the future of the beauty and wellness industry. Its influence has spread not only across the Middle East and Africa plus the Indian subcontinent but has gone well beyond, offering thousands of influential trade buyers the latest beauty trends and exciting new opportunities for their businesses.

25-28 October 2017: InterCHARM Professional in Russia

Being the largest in Russia and CIS specialized exhibition for beauty professionals and beauty salon business, INTERCHARM Professional combines exposition of domestic and foreign developments in the fields of professional cosmetics and cosmetology, nail service, hairdressing, makeup, dermatology, aesthetic medicine, trichology, podiatry and permanent makeup, and a professional program – conferences, workshops and championships. This is one of three Russia’s most known beauty shows under INTERCHARM brand.

14-16 November 2017: Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong

Cosmoprof Asia 2017 attracted 83,793 visitors from 135 countries, an increase of 9% compared with the 2016 fair. Exhibitor numbers grew 7% to 2,877 companies from 54 countries whilst total exhibition space was expanded to 108,600sqm (+11%).

Cosmoprof Asia 2017 continued the ‘One Fair, Two Venues’ concept which was successfully introduced at the 2016 show.

In 2017, the organizers added several new sections. One of these new features highlighted “Cosmopack Asia”, mirroring Cosmopack, held in Bologna, Italy, alongside Cosmoprof Worldwide.

Cosmopack Asia gathered companies representing the entire cosmetics supply chain: raw materials and ingredients, contract manufacturing and private label, machinery, primary and secondary packaging. Cosmopack Asia opened one day before Cosmoprof Asia on 14 November and this gave brands, including those exhibiting at HKCEC, plenty of time to visit many suppliers from all over the world at AWE. Shuttle bus service were provided during the entire show period to connect the two show venues.

The 22th edition of Cosmoprof Asia also drew attention to the cosmetics supply chain with the rebranding of the event at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) from 14 to 16 November as these new features come.
